Coral and Red charm peonies harvested in the morning

Peony season has begun! Every morning & evening we harvest these stunning flowers to catch them right before they open so that customers get a nice long show. Corals & reds bloom first here followed by the pinks, whites & blushes of June. They usually get going around Memorial Day making a spectacular start to summer.

A peony plant must be 3 years old before it’s mature enough for cuts. It’s a long wait but worth it. We will harvest over 2,000 peonies this season . . . every one a beauty.
